How to Play Crush

2. Clear Blocks: Once you've identified a match, simply click or tap on any block within that group. All matching blocks will then be removed from the board, and new blocks will cascade down from the top to fill the empty spaces. This often creates new opportunities for further matches.
3. Activate Power-ups: As you successfully clear larger groups of four or five blocks, or make multiple matches in quick succession, you will often create special power-up blocks. These can include bombs that clear surrounding blocks, rockets that clear entire rows or columns, or color bombs that clear all blocks of a specific color. Tap on these power-ups to unleash their unique and powerful effects.
4. Achieve Level Goals: Each level in Crush presents a unique objective that you must complete to progress. Common goals include reaching a specific target score, clearing a certain number of particular block types, or bringing special items down to the bottom of the board. Using these special blocks effectively can clear a much larger area of the board and help you achieve objectives more efficiently, saving precious moves for later in the level.

Common Mistake: A frequent error players make is clearing the first obvious match they see without considering the broader impact on the board. Instead of reacting impulsively, take a moment to scan the entire layout. Look for opportunities to set up cascading matches, where clearing one group leads to new matches forming automatically, or to position power-ups next to each other for powerful combinations. Planning a few moves ahead can drastically improve your score and success rate.
